Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41001 blauw 0,25m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41001 Blue 0.25m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a short patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in compact network setups. Compliant with Cat8.1 performance parameters and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this blue 0.25 m cable provides a reliable wired link between switches, routers, servers and networked devices in home, office or data center patch panels.

Advantages

The cable’s F/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies. Cat8.1 specification supports greater bandwidth and faster data rates compared to lower category cables, while the short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and latency in dense installations. Durable RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent connectivity with standard network ports.

Suitable for

• Short patching between rack devices, switches and servers
• High-speed LAN connections for gaming and streaming setups
• Professional network environments requiring shielded cabling
• Home offices and compact workstations with limited cable runs

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.25 m
• Color: Blue

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your switch, router or network device and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with cable ties or organizers when routing within racks or along desks. The shielded design requires proper connector grounding in installations where shielding continuity is necessary.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for direct device-to-device connections in rack-mounted or cramped setups where minimal cable length improves airflow and reduces signal reflections. Ensure connected equipment supports shielded cabling and that chassis grounding is present for optimal EMI protection.
