Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41011 blauw 0,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The S/CONN 08-41011 is a 0.5 m Cat8.1 networking cable with F/FTP (foil-shielded pairs with overall foil) construction. It provides high-speed data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference for high-performance wired networks. The cable has RJ-45 connectors on both ends and comes in blue, suitable for short links between switches, patch panels and devices.

Advantages

The F/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable connections at higher frequencies. Cat8.1 specification enables multi-gigabit throughput for demanding applications. RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and simple plug-and-play installation. The 0.5 m length is convenient for tidy, short-distance patching in racks and desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switch and server in a rack
• Short horizontal links between patch panel and wall outlet
• Connecting network devices on a desk where a short cable is needed

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your switch, router, patch panel or device and the other end into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to maintain order and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, high-performance links in structured cabling or server racks. Avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce possible interference, and do not bend the cable beyond its minimum bend radius to preserve signal integrity.
