ShiverPeaks netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41156 wit 1,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41156 White 1.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for short connections where maximum data throughput and signal stability are required. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications, this 1.5-meter cable features F/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain consistent transmission quality in home, office, and data-center-adjacent environments. Its white jacket provides a discreet and tidy appearance for visible installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, which helps preserve signal integrity at high frequencies. The Cat8.1 rating supports very high data rates suitable for modern networking equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure reliable electrical contact over repeated insertions. The 1.5 m length offers a compact solution for connecting nearby devices while minimizing excess cable clutter.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in close proximity
• High-speed local connections for servers or NAS devices
• Workstation or desktop connections requiring low-latency links
• Visible installations where a white cable is preferred for aesthetics

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 network cable suitable for up to very high frequency Ethernet links
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil shield plus individually foil‑screened pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 1.5 meters
• Colour: white outer jacket

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the network port of the devices to be connected until the latch clicks, ensuring secure contact. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links such as from a router to a switch, switch to server, or patch panel to active equipment. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connector; maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking to preserve shielding and internal pair geometry. For best performance, keep the cable run clear of strong electromagnetic sources when possible.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short, high-speed links within racks, between adjacent network equipment, or for workstation connections. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid tight cable ties or excessive compression that could degrade shielding. Maintain moderate ambient conditions and inspect connectors periodically for dust or debris.
