Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-44155 1,5 m Cat8.1 S/FTP zwart

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-44155 1.5m Cat8.1 S/FTP Black is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. Built to Cat8.1 specifications, this 1.5 meter cable uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide reliable, high-speed data transmission while reducing electromagnetic interference. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance for professional or home installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foiled pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable connections at high frequencies. Compliance with Cat8.1 standard ensures the cable is suitable for modern networking needs, while the compact 1.5 m length reduces excess cabling in rack, desktop or media centre setups. Standard RJ-45 terminations provide wide compatibility with switches, routers, servers and network interfaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections between network devices
• Server room and datacentre interconnects where short runs are required
• Direct connections for gaming PCs, NAS devices and media players
• Office workstations and conference room equipment

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 1.5 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your source device and the other plug to the target device such as a switch, router, or network interface. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable or running it in parallel with power lines for long distances to reduce potential interference. Use in environments and equipment rated for Cat8.1 performance to realise maximum data throughput.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use the cable for short to medium-length runs in patch panels, racks, and between nearby devices. Keep bend radius gentle at termination points and avoid excessive strain on the connectors. If you require longer runs or outdoor use, select an appropriately rated cable designed for those conditions.
