Netwerkkabel S/CONN 70078-M-3 magenta 3 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 70078-M-3 is a 3 m network patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer. The cable's magenta jacket provides visual distinction in multi-cable environments while maintaining flexible handling and a compact diameter suitable for cable management in home and office networks. Designed for general Ethernet connectivity, it supports typical data transmission requirements between routers, switches, computers and networked devices.

Advantages

This magenta networking cable combines visible color coding with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to reduce contact resistance and improve long-term connection reliability. Its 3 m length offers a balance between reach and tidy routing, and the flexible jacket simplifies installation in cable trays, under desks or behind equipment racks. The cable is suitable for repeated plug/unplug cycles and straightforward to identify among other cables due to its vivid color.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops and network printers to a router or switch
• Cable management and color-coded installations in home and small office networks
• Temporary or permanent patching between network ports in server rooms or media cabinets

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: magenta
• Application: Ethernet patching for home and office networks

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; maintain gentle loops for cable management. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical motors that can introduce interference. When disconnecting, press the connector latch and pull straight out to reduce wear on the plug.

Recommendations

Use the magenta color to simplify tracing and organization in multi-cable setups. For optimal longevity, avoid excessive bending at the connector ends and store spare lengths coiled loosely. If used in structured cabling with patch panels, keep runs within recommended distances for your network equipment to ensure expected throughput and latency.
