Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75730-HY geel 30 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75730-HY Yellow 30m Cat6 S/FTP is a 30-metre Ethernet cable built to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. Its construction supports reliable data transmission and reduced electromagnetic interference, while the yellow jacket provides high visibility for cable routing and identification in home, office, or server-room environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil screen with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for high-speed networks. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts help maintain low contact resistance and reduce corrosion over time. The 30 m length offers flexibility in device placement without the need for additional couplers or extenders, and the bright yellow outer jacket simplifies cable management and rapid identification among multiple runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and workstations to LAN switches or routers
• Wiring networked devices in home, small office or co-working spaces
• Temporary or permanent patching in server rooms and network cabinets
• High-speed internet access, video streaming and VoIP applications

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 performance for up to Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 30 metres
• Outer jacket color: Yellow for visibility

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device (router, switch, modem, or computer) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, heavy compression, or proximity to large sources of electrical interference. For rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate ties or cable management panels to maintain bend radius and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking or tightly coiling the cable and maintain a minimum bend radius as recommended for Cat6 cabling. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and large transformers to reduce potential electromagnetic interference. When used in mixed cable bundles, ensure proper shielding continuity at termination points to preserve the S/FTP benefits.
