Netwerkkabel S/CONN Cat.6 S/FTP 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat.6 S/FTP 0.25 m is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in confined or equipment-dense environments. With Cat.6 performance and S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and supports high-speed data transfer between network devices. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance, and comes in white for a neat, professional appearance.

Advantages

The S/CONN Cat.6 S/FTP cable offers improved noise immunity thanks to its combined foil and braided shielding, which helps maintain signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Short length and flexible construction make it suitable for patching in racks, switches, and modular equipment while minimizing excess cable. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and reduced contact resistance for more reliable connections.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 performance level suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 0.25 m (25 cm)
• Color: White
• Cable use: Patch cable for network device interconnection

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. Use the 0.25 m patch cable to link switches, routers, patch panels, or directly connect networked equipment where short, tidy connections are required. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For removal, press the connector latch and gently pull the plug straight out.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable in environments where electromagnetic interference is present or where short, high-quality patch connections are needed. Ensure proper strain relief at connection points and avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines. When integrating into structured cabling, verify that other components meet Cat.6 standards to maintain end-to-end performance.
