VGA-kabel S/CONN 2m VGA VGA (D-Sub) grijs

The ShiverPeaks VGA Cable S/CONN 2m VGA VGA (D-Sub) Grey is a 2-metre video connection cable with male VGA (D-Sub) connectors on both ends designed for analogue VGA signal transmission. It provides a straightforward wired link between computers, monitors, projectors and other VGA-compatible devices. The grey outer jacket and standard D-Sub shell make the cable suitable for typical office, home and classroom installations where a reliable VGA connection is required.

Advantages

This 2 m VGA cable offers a plug-and-play solution for analogue video transmission without the need for adapters. The dual D-Sub connectors ensure a stable mechanical fit and consistent signal contact. The cable length balances flexibility and signal integrity for short to medium runs, while the durable outer jacket reduces wear from repeated plugging and movement.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to VGA monitors
• Linking computers to projectors for presentations
• Extending VGA connections in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Replacing worn or lost VGA leads for legacy equipment

Key specifications

• Connector type: VGA (D-Sub) male to VGA (D-Sub) male
• Cable length: 2 metres
• Color: grey outer jacket
• Signal type: analogue RGB video (VGA)
• Typical use: video transmission between VGA-compatible devices

How to use

Power off devices before connecting if required by your equipment. Insert each VGA (D-Sub) connector firmly into the corresponding VGA port and hand-tighten the thumbscrews to secure the connection. After both ends are connected, power on the devices and select the appropriate input source on the display or projector. Adjust display settings (resolution, refresh rate) in your computer’s graphics settings to match the monitor or projector specifications for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

For best results, keep cable runs under recommended lengths for analogue VGA to minimise signal degradation. Avoid sharp bends and pressure on the cable and connectors. If you experience image noise or reduced quality at higher resolutions, check connector seating and consider using signal boosters or switching to a digital interface where available.
