Siemens 6EP4136-3AB00-2AY0 onderbrekingsvrije stroomvoorziening (UPS)

Siemens 6EP4136-3AB00-2AY0 is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to maintain continuity of supply and protect industrial automation equipment from mains interruptions and voltage fluctuations. The unit provides temporary battery-backed power to control systems, PLCs and connected electronics, reducing the risk of data loss, unexpected shutdowns and equipment errors during short outages or disturbances in the supply network.

Advantages

This UPS offers a compact footprint suited to control cabinets and installation panels, with reliable switch-over to battery power and stable output for sensitive electronics. It is engineered for industrial environments, providing protection against mains instability and enabling orderly shutdown or continued operation of critical devices. The device is compatible with typical automation equipment power requirements and supports uninterrupted operation during brief power interruptions.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the UPS according to Siemens installation guidelines, placing it in a ventilated control cabinet or on a panel with adequate clearance. Connect the mains input and output to the systems to be protected, and connect the battery according to polarity and safety instructions. Configure the protected devices so that critical PLCs and controllers receive power from the UPS output. Verify correct operation by testing the transfer to battery power and observing the behavior of connected equipment under simulated mains interruption.

Recommendations

Use this UPS in environments with stable temperature and limited dust. Regularly check battery condition and replace batteries according to the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule. Ensure proper grounding and follow local electrical codes during installation to maximize reliability of the backup supply.
