Slangverbinder Alphacool 13882 messing chroom

The Alphacool 13882 Brass Chrome hose connector is a single-piece fitting crafted from solid brass with a chrome-plated finish. Designed for use in computer cooling systems, this connector provides a reliable physical link between flexible tubing and other cooling components. Its corrosion-resistant brass body and smooth chrome surface help ensure longevity and maintain a clean appearance inside water-cooled PC loops.

Advantages

The brass construction offers mechanical strength and resistance to wear while the chrome plating improves corrosion protection and provides an easy-to-clean surface. As a single-piece hose connector, it reduces leak points compared to multi-part fittings and simplifies installation. The compact form factor is suitable for tight spaces within computer cases, and the material combination is compatible with common coolant types used in PC water-cooling systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting flexible coolant tubing in custom PC water-cooling loops
• Retrofit or replacement of worn or damaged hose fittings
• Compact installations where a single-piece, reliable connector is needed

Key specifications

• Material: brass body with chrome-plated finish
• Design: single-piece hose connector
• Application: liquid cooling for computers
• Surface: polished chrome for corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning

How to use

Install the Alphacool 13882 by sliding the appropriate inner diameter flexible tubing onto the connector’s barbed or plain hose section and secure it with a suitable clamp or compression ring compatible with your tubing. Ensure tubing is cut squarely and pushed fully onto the connector to create a proper seal. Check connection points after installation and during initial system fill and testing to confirm there are no leaks. Follow normal procedures for filling and bleeding your water-cooling loop and monitor the connector during early operation.

Recommendations

Use clamps or compression fittings rated for computer liquid cooling to secure the tubing, and choose tubing whose inner diameter matches the connector for a tight fit. Inspect metal fittings periodically for signs of galvanic reaction if dissimilar metals are present in the loop, and follow coolant manufacturer guidelines to maintain system longevity.
