Sleepkabel IWH auto-sleepkabel Jumbo 4000 kg, rood polypropyleen, lusuiteinden

The IWH KFZ-Abschleppseil Jumbo is a 4,000 kg rated tow rope made from red polypropylene with looped ends and an integrated shackle for secure attachment. Designed for vehicle recovery and towing light-to-medium loads, this tow rope combines lightweight construction with corrosion resistance for straightforward roadside and short-distance transport tasks.

Advantages

The polypropylene construction keeps the rope lightweight and resistant to moisture and corrosion, while the looped ends simplify connection to tow points. The included shackle provides a firm attachment option and the 4,000 kg rating covers most passenger vehicles and small commercial vehicles within the specified load range.

Suitable for

• Towing or recovering passenger cars
• Short-distance vehicle transport on roads
• Emergency roadside assistance and vehicle relocation

How to use

Inspect the rope and shackle for visible damage before each use. Securely attach one loop end to the towing eye or approved tow point on the towing vehicle and the other loop to the towed vehicle’s designated tow point using the shackle if required. Ensure the rope is free of knots and lies flat; maintain steady, low-speed towing with smooth accelerations and braking to avoid shock loads. After use, clean and store the rope in a dry place away from direct sunlight.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the 4,000 kg rated capacity. Use only on appropriate tow points and avoid dynamic (snatch) towing; replace the rope if frayed, cut, or damaged. For heavy or frequent towing, consider a product with a higher rated capacity or a certified towing strap.
