Sleutelset KS Tools 517.0148 chroom-vanadiumstaal

The KS Tools 517.0148 spanner wrench set is a collection of straight spanner wrenches manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel. Supplied in a box of eight pieces, this set is designed for general mechanical use where reliable torque transfer and wear resistance are required. The straight-shank design provides straightforward access in open spaces and the chrome finish offers surface protection against corrosion and facilitates cleaning.

Advantages

The chromium-vanadium steel construction ensures strength and durability under repeated use while the chrome finish reduces oxidation and simplifies maintenance. The straight shape of each wrench provides consistent contact with fasteners, minimizing slippage and improving efficiency during routine assembly or repair tasks. Supplied as an eight-piece set, the wrenches give a range of sizes for matching common fasteners, reducing the need to switch between disparate tools.

Suitable for

• Automotive repair and maintenance
• General mechanical assembly and disassembly
• Workshop and garage toolkits
• Plumbing and HVAC installations where straight access is available

Key specifications

• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Finish: chrome-plated surface
• Shape: straight spanner wrenches
• Quantity: 8 pieces per set
• Typical use: manual torque application on nuts and bolts

How to use

Select the wrench size that closely matches the flat-to-flat dimension of the nut or bolt to avoid rounding fastener corners. Position the open end of the spanner fully onto the fastener and apply steady manual force in the required direction; use controlled, even pressure to reduce the risk of slippage. For tighter fasteners, use gradual incremental force and inspect the contact points for wear or damage before continuing. After use, wipe the chrome-plated surfaces clean and store the set in its box to protect the tools and maintain organization.

Recommendations

Inspect wrenches periodically for deformation or excessive wear; do not use damaged tools. Avoid using the spanners with adjustable extensions or cheater bars that can exceed the designed manual torque capacity. Store the set in a dry place to preserve the chrome finish and prolong service life.
