Slotcar-baanuitbreidingsset CARRERA Hybrid Track Pack 2 uitbreiding / autoset

The CARRERA Hybrid Track Pack 2 Extension / Car Set adds extra track sections and a vehicle to expand a compatible CARRERA Hybrid slot car system. This pack is intended as an add-on to existing Hybrid layouts, allowing hobbyists to extend lap length, create new course shapes, and introduce additional overtaking or pit-stop possibilities without replacing the base system. The set is compatible with CARRERA Hybrid components and designed to integrate with the system's electrical and mechanical connections.

Advantages

The extension pack increases layout versatility by providing extra straight and curved track pieces and a ready-to-run car that matches the Hybrid system's power and control interface. Because components are produced to fit the Hybrid standard, installation is straightforward and maintains consistent electrical contact and vehicle guidance. The pack enables larger circuits and more complex track topologies while preserving the original system's handling and lap-time characteristics.

Suitable for

• Enlarging existing CARRERA Hybrid layouts
• Creating alternative track configurations and longer laps
• Adding a spare or replacement vehicle for multiplayer racing
• Experimenting with track design and competitive setups

Key specifications

• Includes multiple additional track sections: straights and curves compatible with CARRERA Hybrid geometry
• Contains one ready-to-run slot car tuned for Hybrid system power delivery
• Mechanical and electrical connectors designed for simple plug-in extension of existing tracks
• Materials: molded plastic track with metal rails; scale-compatible slot car with electrical pick-up

How to use

Unpack the track sections and car, inspect components for damage, and follow the existing CARRERA Hybrid layout plan to place new pieces where desired. Align connectors and press track segments together until they lock; ensure rail contacts are clean for reliable electrical connectivity. Place the provided car on the slot, connect controllers and power supply from the base system, and perform a short test run to confirm smooth operation and consistent power. Adjust lane joins or rail alignment if you notice electrical interruptions or irregular steering.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, integrate the extension pack into layouts that match the Hybrid system's intended scale and power rating. Regularly clean metal rails and car pick-ups to reduce contact resistance. When combining many extensions, verify the power supply capacity of the base system to maintain consistent voltage across the track and consider adding lane separators or guardrails for safer high-speed sections.
