Smartlichtset Philips Hue White and Colour Ambience Starterset — 3 E27-smartlampen, dimschakelaar, Bridge Pro, Bluetooth/Zigbee

The Philips Hue White and Colour Ambience Starter Kit includes three E27 smart bulbs, a Dimmer switch and a Bridge Pro. The bulbs support Bluetooth and Zigbee control, offering tunable white light and full colour across 16 million colours. The Bridge Pro adds faster processing, AI-capable algorithms and whole-home connectivity, while the kit supports app and voice control, scheduling, scenes and LAN connection via the supplied RJ‑45 cable. Input voltage 220–240 V, standby power 0.1 W.

Advantages

The kit provides flexible control options via Bluetooth for direct control and Zigbee through the Bridge Pro for whole-home integration and remote access. Included colour-capable bulbs allow both tunable white (1000–20000 K) and full colour lighting, while the Bridge Pro’s upgraded processor increases system capacity and responsiveness. The dimmer switch offers convenient local control without a smartphone.

Suitable for

• Home lighting scenes and mood setting in living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens
• Smart home integration with voice assistants and third-party platforms
• Rooms that require tunable white light for tasks and warm/cool ambience
• Users who want both direct Bluetooth control and expanded Zigbee network features

When it may not be suitable

This kit requires a mains supply of 220–240 V and is designed for E27 fittings; it is not suitable for fixtures that accept different bulb bases or lower-voltage systems. Users who need strictly professional lighting with precise photometric data or specialised industrial luminaires may find this consumer kit insufficient.

How to use

Screw the E27 bulbs into compatible lamp holders and restore mains power. Connect the Bridge Pro to your LAN using the supplied RJ‑45 cable, then follow the Philips Hue app instructions to add the Bridge, register the bulbs and pair the dimmer switch. Use the app or voice assistant to create schedules, scenes and automations; direct Bluetooth control is also available for local operation without the Bridge.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your light fittings accept E27 bulbs and your home electrical supply is 220–240 V
• Decide if you need remote access and whole-home automation — these require the Bridge Pro and LAN connection
• Check compatibility with your preferred voice assistant or smart home platform
• Consider network range and Zigbee device capacity if you plan to expand the system

Recommendations

For reliable whole-home control and advanced features, connect the Bridge Pro to your router and add bulbs room by room; use scenes for regular routines and the dimmer switch for quick local adjustments.
