Smartphone-adapter DJI 998316 gimbal-camera-accessoire voor DJI-gimbals, smartphonehouder

The DJI 998316 smartphone adapter is an official DJI gimbal camera accessory that secures a smartphone to compatible DJI gimbals for stable handheld filming. Designed to integrate with DJI stabilizers, the adapter holds the smartphone firmly in place while the gimbal compensates for motion, helping to reduce shake and produce smoother video footage. The accessory is intended for use when attaching a phone to a DJI gimbal to capture stable cinematic and everyday clips.

Advantages

The adapter offers a reliable mounting interface engineered to fit DJI gimbals and maintain phone position during movement. Its construction balances firm clamping with straightforward installation, enabling fast setup and removal without tools. By aligning the smartphone with the gimbal’s center of gravity, the adapter helps the stabilizer operate more efficiently and reduces motor strain, contributing to longer gimbal runtime and steadier footage.

Suitable for

• Handheld smartphone videography with DJI gimbals
• Content creation for social media, vlogs, and short films
• On-the-go filming, travel and lifestyle shoots requiring extra stabilization
• Hobbyist and semi-professional users who use DJI stabilizers with phones

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for use with DJI gimbals and stabilizers that accept official DJI smartphone mounts
• Mount type: Smartphone clamp adapter for gimbal attachment
• Material: Durable construction to withstand regular mounting and removal
• Adjustability: Clamping mechanism accommodates a range of smartphone widths
• Weight impact: Lightweight design to minimize additional load on gimbal motors

How to use

Attach the adapter to the gimbal’s smartphone mounting point following the gimbal manufacturer’s instructions. Open the clamp to accommodate your smartphone, position the phone centrally in the adapter to align with the gimbal’s balance point, and close the clamp to secure the device. Power on the gimbal and perform any required balancing or calibration steps before recording. Remove the phone by reversing the installation steps when finished.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter with phones whose size falls within the clamp’s adjustable range and balance the phone on the gimbal before use. Avoid over-tightening the clamp to prevent damage to the smartphone frame. Regularly check the adapter and clamp for wear, and follow DJI gimbal guidelines for payload limits to maintain optimal performance.
