Solid State Drive PATRIOT P400 V4 4 TB M.2 NVMe (4000 GB, M.2, zwart)

PATRIOT P400 V4 4 TB M.2 NVMe is a high-capacity solid state drive designed for PCs, notebooks and compatible game consoles. The drive delivers 4000 GB of storage in an M.2 2280 form factor and a compact black enclosure. Its PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe interface and modern controller provide high sequential transfer rates, and an integrated graphene heat spreader helps manage operating temperature for sustained performance during demanding workloads.

Advantages

The P400 V4 combines large capacity with a compact M.2 form factor to expand system storage without occupying 2.5" drive bays. Its PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe design supports high sequential read and write throughput to accelerate boot times, application launches and large file transfers. A slim graphene heat spreader and thermal throttling mechanisms assist in maintaining stable performance under sustained load while the light weight makes it suitable for space- and weight-constrained systems.

Suitable for

• Expanding internal storage for desktop PCs and notebooks
• Installing and running modern games and large game libraries (including PS5-compatible configurations)
• Storing and editing large media files for photo and video projects
• Improving system responsiveness for operating system and application drives

How to use

Install the M.2 2280 SSD into an available M.2 PCIe slot on a compatible motherboard or supported game console following the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Secure the drive with the appropriate standoff and screw, then initialize, partition and format the drive in the operating system if required. For use in a PS5 or other consoles, verify platform compatibility and follow console-specific installation and formatting procedures.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance and longevity, ensure proper airflow or cooling in the system enclosure, keep firmware up to date according to the manufacturer, and use the drive as an OS, application or media storage drive in systems that support PCIe Gen4 or provide backward compatibility with PCIe Gen3.
