Why choose it

Unlike traditional LCD or LED displays, e-paper technology reflects ambient light, making it perfectly readable even in bright sunlight and eliminating eye strain. The SOLUM Newton consumes power only when the content changes, so it can run for extended periods on a single charge, reducing energy costs. Its 4-color capability allows for eye-catching highlights without the need for a full-color display, making it a cost-effective solution for digital signage. The wireless connectivity means you can update content remotely, saving time and effort compared to manual poster replacement.

Ideal use cases

• Corporate offices: meeting room schedules, employee directories, and announcements
• Retail environments: price tags, promotional displays, and product information
• Public spaces: wayfinding, event schedules, and information boards
• Healthcare facilities: patient information, queue management, and notices
• Education: classroom schedules, campus maps, and bulletin boards

Good to know

The display includes an AC adapter (12V DC) for power, and its VESA mount compatibility allows for wall or stand mounting. The ARM Cortex-M4 processor and 16MB internal flash storage provide reliable performance for content rendering. With a full refresh time of approximately 15 seconds for 4-color content, it is best suited for static or slowly changing information. The operating temperature range of 0°C to 40°C makes it suitable for indoor use. For content management, SOLUM offers software solutions that integrate with the display via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
