Sonic tandenborstel Panasonic EW-DM81

The Panasonic EW-DM81 sonic toothbrush is a compact adult toothbrush designed for precise cleaning of periodontal pockets. It uses extra thin bristles with tips about 0.02 mm in diameter that are engineered to reach up to 3 mm into periodontal pockets. The handle is ultra-thin and lightweight, and the package includes a charging stand and two brush heads. The device operates on a Nickel-Metal Hydride battery and offers two brushing modes—REGULAR and SOFT—along with an integrated 30-second timer and a slow start function for gentler initial stimulation.

Advantages

Extra thin bristles allow the brush tips to penetrate periodontal grooves to a depth of approximately 3 mm, helping to remove bacteria located in tight pockets. Sonic vibrations at about 31,000 revolutions per minute provide high-speed, precise movement to remove plaque effectively without damaging teeth and gums. Two brushing modes and a slow start function let users choose between normal and gentler cleaning, while the 30-second timer supports even coverage of all mouth quadrants. The ultra-thin ergonomic body and included charging stand improve handling and storage.

• Adults seeking targeted cleaning of periodontal pockets

After use, rinse the brush head and return the device to the charging stand.

Recommendations
