Soundbar-luidspreker Philips TAB5309/10 120 W

The Philips TAB5309/10 120 W soundbar speaker provides a compact 2.1-channel audio solution designed to improve TV and media sound. With an RMS rated power of 120 W and an active wireless subwoofer, the unit reproduces clear mid and high frequencies from the soundbar while the subwoofer handles low-frequency content. Built-in support for audio decoders such as DTS 5.1, DTS Virtual:X, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus ensures compatibility with common surround and virtual height processing formats. The speaker also accepts multiple file formats, including FLAC, LPCM, MP3 and WAV, and offers both wired and wireless connectivity for flexible placement and source connection.

Advantages

The system combines a slim soundbar and a wireless active subwoofer to deliver fuller bass without a dedicated cable run to the speaker unit. Support for modern decoders and virtualisation technologies improves dialog clarity and creates an expanded soundstage from a compact footprint. Multiple format support and both wired and wireless connection options allow easy integration with TVs, streaming devices and mobile sources. The neutral grey finish fits a variety of interior styles and the 2.1-channel layout balances clear vocals and sound effects with reinforced low end.

How to use

Place the soundbar under the display and position the wireless subwoofer to one side or behind seating for balanced bass response. Select an appropriate audio decoder or TV output format in the source device settings to take advantage of DTS or Dolby processing. Adjust volume and bass levels on the unit or via the remote to suit room size and listening preferences.

Recommendations

For best performance, leave at least 10–20 cm of clearance above the soundbar for unobstructed sound dispersion and place the subwoofer on a solid floor surface rather than carpet to reduce unwanted vibration. When using virtualisation modes such as DTS Virtual:X, position the main listening seat centrally to maximise perceived surround effect.
