Spiraalboor Bosch 2608596337 1,2 cm

The Bosch twist drill bit 2608596337 (Ø 1.2 cm) is a high-speed steel (HSS) long-shank drill designed for precise drilling in a variety of construction and installation tasks. Manufactured to DIN 7490 with a 118° chisel-edged tip, the bit is finished in a polished black color and is compatible with drills that accept a 13 mm chuck. It is intended for rotary drilling only (no hammer/impact mode) and complies with the safety standards of the German Timber Trade Association (Berufsgenossenschaft Holz).

Advantages

The HSS material and long shank provide durability and reduced bending during deeper holes, while the 118° chisel-edged tip offers accurate centering and clean hole entry. The bit’s DIN 7490 manufacture ensures consistent quality and the polished black finish helps resist corrosion and wear. Compatibility with standard 13 mm chucks makes it suitable for many common drills.

How to use

Secure the Bosch 2608596337 twist drill bit in a drill with a 13 mm chuck. Select rotary mode only and do not use hammer or impact function. Mark the drilling point, start at low speed to ensure correct centering, then increase speed and apply steady pressure appropriate to the material. Use coolant or lubricant when drilling metals if recommended for the specific workpiece. Remove the bit periodically for chip clearing when drilling deep holes.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment (safety goggles, gloves and hearing protection as required). For metal drilling, clamp the workpiece securely and use cutting fluid when necessary. Replace the bit when wear degrades cutting performance or when the tip is damaged.
