SSD OWC Aura Pro 250 GB M.2 SATA III 3D TLC

The OWC Aura Pro 6G 250 GB M.2 SATA III SSD is designed as an upgrade for MacBook Air models from 2010–2011 and similar systems that accept the Aura Pro form factor. With sequential read speeds up to 530 MB/s and write speeds up to 495 MB/s over a 6 Gbit/s interface, this 250 GB 3D TLC drive increases storage capacity and improves system responsiveness compared with many factory-installed SSDs. The product comes with a how-to video to assist with a DIY installation.

Advantages

The drive provides higher capacity options for older MacBook Air models and significantly faster transfer rates, offering up to 6G speeds on 2011 MacBook Airs and backward-compatible 3G speeds for earlier models. It uses 3D TLC NAND and the M.2 form factor to deliver a reliable and compact storage upgrade while maintaining compatibility with the targeted MacBook Air connectors and mounting. A how-to video is included to simplify installation for end users.

Suitable for

• MacBook Air (2011) users seeking faster read/write performance and larger capacity
• MacBook Air (2010) users requiring a higher-capacity replacement drive
• Users upgrading older Mac laptops with the compatible Aura Pro form factor
