Staalkabel EUROLITE 900 x 3 mm, zilver — flexibele RVS-kabel

EUROLITE steel cable 900 x 3 mm is a silver-coloured flexible stainless steel wire rope with a nominal diameter of 3 mm and a total length of 900 mm. Designed for general-purpose securing, suspension and guiding tasks, the cable combines compact dimensions with corrosion-resistant surface properties suitable for indoor and protected outdoor use. The product is intended for light rigging, hanging fixtures, signage and temporary fastening where a small-diameter, durable cable is required.

Advantages

The cable offers a balance of flexibility and tensile strength in a compact 3 mm diameter, allowing easy routing and attachment in confined spaces. Its silver corrosion-resistant finish reduces maintenance needs in non-aggressive environments and helps maintain appearance over time. The short 900 mm length is practical for pre-cut installations and immediate use without additional cutting tools, while the stainless-steel construction provides dimensional stability and reliable performance under repeated tensioning and movement.

How to use

Measure and position the cable according to the required span and attachment points. Use compatible end fittings, clamps or crimps designed for 3 mm wire rope to secure terminations; ensure fittings match the cable’s diameter and construction. For suspension, loop the cable through anchor points or fixtures and fasten with appropriate clamps or sleeves, then tension to the required tautness without exceeding the recommended working load for the application. Avoid sharp bends or kinks during installation and protect cut ends to prevent fraying.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable periodically for signs of wear, corrosion or deformation, especially when used in environments with moisture or chemicals. Select end fittings rated for the intended load and environment, and replace any cable that shows broken strands or significant surface damage. For outdoor or marine exposure, consider additional protective measures or a higher-grade stainless wire rope.
