How to use

Select appropriate end fittings (clamps, thimbles or eyes) and assemble them according to the fitting manufacturer’s instructions. Thread or route the 4 mm steel cable to the required attachment points, secure the ends with correctly rated clamps or ferrules, and set the required tension while staying within the cable’s rated load limits. Inspect the cable visually for wear, corrosion or broken strands before each use and perform periodic checks during service.

Recommendations

Do not exceed rated load capacities; avoid use in fully exposed outdoor locations unless additional corrosion protection is applied. Replace the cable if any broken wires, significant corrosion or deformation are detected. Use fittings and connectors sized for 4 mm cable and follow relevant safety standards for rigging and load support.
