The Manfrotto MH490-BH is a compact 1/4" centre ball head designed for mirrorless and compact system cameras (CSC). Engineered in Italy, this aluminium head offers a low-profile 90 mm height and weighs 190 g, providing a balance of stability and portability. It supports a safe payload of up to 4 kg and fits tripods with a 4 cm base diameter, making it suitable for everyday photography where quick, simple adjustments are required.

Advantages

The MH490-BH uses a single ergonomic knob to control all movements of the ball head, simplifying operation and enabling fast composition changes. Its aluminium construction keeps weight low while maintaining durability. The 1/4" mounting and compact footprint allow easy compatibility with a wide range of tripods and cameras, and the 4 kg safety payload is adequate for most mirrorless and compact camera setups.
