Steeksleutel KWB 470390 8-delig 234x162x40 mm

The KWB 470390 Open End Wrench set contains eight open-end wrenches designed for general mechanical and assembly tasks. Each wrench features opposing U-shaped jaws that fit hexagonal fasteners, and the set is arranged within a compact package measuring 234x162x40 mm, making it easy to store and transport. The open end design provides quick engagement with bolts and nuts where full rotation with a ring wrench is not possible.

Advantages

The open-end geometry enables rapid placement and removal on fasteners in confined or awkward positions. A set of eight sizes gives flexibility across a range of metric fasteners, reducing the need to switch tools frequently. The compact package dimensions support neat storage in tool chests or workbags while keeping the wrenches organized and accessible.

How to use

Select the wrench size that matches the fastener head. Position the open jaw over the fastener and apply steady force to turn. For best leverage and to avoid rounding fastener edges, ensure the wrench fully engages the flats of the bolt or nut and pull toward the body rather than push when possible. Use the appropriate wrench from the set to fit the workpiece and change sizes as required for different fasteners.

Recommendations

Store the wrench set in a dry place to prevent corrosion and keep the set within the package or a tool organizer to maintain size order. Inspect wrenches for wear or damaged jaws before use and avoid using open-end wrenches on rounded or heavily damaged fasteners; consider alternative tools if slippage occurs.
