Stekkerdoos Acar S6 overspanningsbeveiliging – 6 stopcontacten, 5 m kabel, zwart

The Acar S6 surge protector is a compact power strip with six grounded outlets and a 5 m cable in a black housing. It is designed to distribute mains power to multiple devices while offering basic surge protection to reduce the risk of damage from voltage spikes. The unit's six-socket layout and extended cable length provide flexible placement options for home offices, entertainment centers and workstations where several powered devices must be connected to a single outlet.

Advantages

The Acar S6 combines a space-efficient footprint with a long cable to simplify installation and cable routing. Its grounded outlets support safe connection of grounded appliances and peripherals. Built-in surge suppression helps protect connected equipment from transient overvoltages. The black finish reduces visual contrast in typical home and office interiors and the six-socket configuration supports multiple simultaneous connections without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Home office setups with a computer, monitor and peripheral devices
• Entertainment centers with TV, set-top box, game console and audio equipment
• Workstations and hobby benches requiring multiple powered tools or chargers
• Temporary setups where a long cable is needed to reach a distant wall outlet

Key specifications

• Number of outlets: 6 grounded sockets
• Cable length: 5 m
• Housing color: black
• Form factor: compact power strip
• Mounting: free-standing or surface placement (no built-in wall bracket specified)

How to use

Place the surge protector on a stable surface or position it near the devices to be powered. Plug the unit's mains plug into a properly grounded wall outlet. Connect appliances to the grounded sockets, taking care not to exceed the combined load rating of the connected devices. Avoid daisy-chaining multiple power strips. For devices that require continuous operation, confirm that the surge protector's protection characteristics meet the device manufacturer’s recommendations.

Recommendations

Use the Acar S6 surge protector indoors in dry environments, keep it away from heat sources and liquids, and periodically inspect the cable and housing for damage. Do not use if the unit shows signs of wear or after sustained surge events. For high-value or mission-critical equipment, consider dedicated protection solutions with specified clamping voltage and energy absorption ratings.
