Stekkerdoos AS Schwabe stekkerdoos 18672 met master/slave-functie, wit/zwart

AS Schwabe Power Strip 18672 with Master/Slave function is a mains extension in a white and black housing designed to provide additional AC outlets while enabling automatic central switching. The integrated master outlet detects when a primary device is powered and switches the slave sockets on or off accordingly, helping to reduce standby consumption and consolidate power management for multiple devices in home or office setups.

Advantages

The power strip offers automatic master/slave switching that simplifies powering peripheral equipment without manual intervention. Its mixed white and black housing combines with a compact layout to fit unobtrusively near entertainment centres, computer desks or AV racks. By switching dependent sockets off when the master device is off, the unit contributes to lower standby power draw and clearer cable management. The device includes multiple grounded outlets to accommodate a range of electrical appliances and electronic devices safely.

How to use

Connect the power strip to a properly rated wall socket and plug the primary device (master) into the designated master outlet. Plug secondary devices into the slave outlets. When the master device is powered on, the power strip will detect the load on the master outlet and automatically supply power to the slave sockets; when the master device is powered down, the slave sockets will be switched off after the unit's detection delay. Ensure the combined current draw of connected devices does not exceed the socket circuit rating and follow local electrical regulations when installing.

Recommendations

Place the strip in a well-ventilated, dry indoor location away from heat sources and moisture. Use the master outlet for the main controlling device with consistent on/off behavior (for example a TV or PC). Avoid connecting high-power single appliances such as heaters or kettles to the strip. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for signs of wear and discontinue use if damage is found.
