Stekkerdoos ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 19 inch 7-voudig, zwart

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 19" 7-socket power strip is a rack-mount unit designed for installation in standard 19-inch cabinets and racks. Housed in a compact black 1U enclosure, it provides seven AC outlets arranged to supply power to servers, network switches, routers and other rack equipment. The unit is intended for organized power distribution in server rooms, small data closets and professional AV installations where a space-efficient strip is required.

Advantages

The unit occupies a single rack unit (1U) of height while offering seven outlets, enabling efficient use of vertical space in racks. Its black metal housing provides a durable mounting solution that integrates with existing cabinet interiors. The straightforward fixed configuration simplifies installation and reduces clutter compared with individual power cords. The design supports centralized power access for multiple devices in a single rack bay.

Suitable for

• Server cabinets and data center racks
• Network closets and distribution racks
• Professional AV racks and broadcast equipment cabinets
• Small office IT closets and edge installations

Key specifications

• Form factor: 19" rack-mount, 1U height
• Number of outlets: 7 AC sockets
• Housing color: black
• Mounting: fixed front-panel installation in standard 19" racks
• Cable and plug: integrated power input (check local plug variant) suitable for AC mains

How to use

Install the power strip in a vacant 1U space in a 19" rack using compatible mounting screws. Connect the integrated power input to a properly rated AC mains outlet or upstream power distribution unit. Plug rack equipment into the seven outlets, ensuring that device power ratings do not exceed the available circuit capacity. Route connected cables neatly to avoid blocking airflow through the rack and to maintain access to other front-mounted equipment.

Recommendations

For safe operation, verify the total current draw of all connected devices and ensure that the upstream circuit and any overcurrent protection are rated accordingly. Use the product in indoor, dry environments and avoid overloading individual outlets. For redundant power needs, consider using additional strips or a power distribution unit with separate input feeds.
