Stereo eindversterker Behringer PD3000 3000W 2-kanaals voor passieve luidsprekersystemen

The Behringer PD3000 is a stereo power amplifier delivering a combined 3000W rated output across two channels, designed for driving passive speaker systems in live sound and fixed-installation environments. Engineered for clubs, stages and public address setups, this amplifier offers the power and connection options needed to support high-SPL applications while providing protection features to maintain reliable operation under heavy loads.

Advantages

The PD3000 combines high output power with a two-channel stereo configuration, enabling flexible deployment for left/right speaker arrays or bi-amped setups. Its robust construction and integrated protection circuitry help prevent thermal overload, short-circuit and DC faults, contributing to long-term stability and reduced downtime. The amplifier’s standard professional connectivity and rack-friendly form factor simplify installation into stage racks and fixed PA systems.

Suitable for

• Live music venues and club sound systems
• Stage PA systems and concert reinforcement
• Fixed installations in halls, churches and event spaces
• Rental and touring rigs requiring reliable high-power amplification

Key specifications

• Power topology: stereo, two independent channels
• Rated combined output power: 3000 watts
• Designed for passive speaker loads
• Professional audio inputs and outputs for stage and PA integration
• Rack-mountable enclosure suitable for standard equipment racks

How to use

Install the PD3000 into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate ventilation clearance to ensure adequate cooling. Connect the amplifier inputs to a mixer or signal processor using balanced cables and route outputs to passive speaker cabinets using suitable speaker cables and connectors rated for high current. Set input gain and output levels conservatively at first, perform a soundcheck at low to moderate volume, and gradually increase levels while monitoring speaker and amplifier performance to avoid clipping or overload.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, ensure the amplifier has proper airflow and is not enclosed without ventilation. Match speaker impedance and power handling to the amplifier’s output capabilities, and use signal-processing tools such as limiters and crossovers when bi-amping or driving full-range cabinets to protect speakers and preserve audio quality.
