Stofkap ShiverPeaks BS08-01024-10 RJ-45 10 stuks

The ShiverPeaks BS08-01024-10 RJ-45 dust cover pack contains ten bright yellow plastic covers designed to protect RJ-45 ports from dust, dirt and other environmental contaminants. These compact covers fit standard Ethernet connectors and provide a simple, visible solution for maintaining clean network ports in office, server room or field environments while minimizing the risk of connection problems caused by foreign particles.

Advantages

These RJ-45 dust covers are made from durable plastic that resists deformation and retains shape during repeated insertion and removal. The bright yellow color improves visibility when scanning panels or patch bays, reducing the chance of accidentally leaving ports exposed. The slim profile preserves rack and panel space while creating a barrier against dust and small debris without interfering with adjacent connectors.

Suitable for

• Protecting unused RJ-45 ports on switches, patch panels and routers
• Temporary protection during installation, maintenance or transport
• Use in server rooms, data centers, offices, classrooms and industrial sites
• Color-coding covered ports for quick identification

Key specifications

• Quantity: 10 pieces per pack
• Connector compatibility: RJ-45 / 8P8C standard Ethernet ports
• Material: durable plastic
• Color: bright yellow for high visibility
• Profile: slim, low-profile design to conserve space on panels and ports

How to use

Align the dust cover with the RJ-45 port opening and press gently until the cover seats securely over the connector. To remove, grip the cover and pull straight out to avoid disturbing adjacent connectors or cables. Use these covers on unused ports to prevent dust accumulation and during transport or servicing to keep connector surfaces clean and reduce the need for contact cleaning.

Recommendations

Store spare covers in a dry environment and inspect covers periodically for cracks or wear; replace any damaged covers to ensure continued protection. Use color-coded covers when organizing large patch panels to mark reserved or decommissioned ports. Avoid exposing covers to high temperatures or solvents that could deform the plastic.
