Stopcontact ShiverPeaks BS74280-B — 2 x RJ-45, Cat6a, blauw

ShiverPeaks BS74280-B is a wall-mounted socket-outlet featuring two RJ-45 ports designed for Category 6a cabling. The compact blue module provides a fixed termination point for structured Ethernet cabling, enabling high-speed network connections up to the capability of Cat6a standards. It is intended for installation in standard wall boxes and integrates with existing patching and cabling systems in offices, server rooms and residential environments where reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit-capable links are required.

Advantages

The dual RJ-45 configuration allows two independent network connections from a single outlet while maintaining Cat6a performance characteristics such as reduced crosstalk and improved signal integrity. The blue finish offers easy visual identification for network cabling runs. The outlet is supplied as a single unit suitable for wall mounting and structured-cable installations, providing a tidy, permanent termination point for patch leads and reducing wear on patch panels and routers.

Suitable for

• Office workstations requiring high-speed Ethernet connections
• Server rooms and data closets with Cat6a cabling infrastructure
• Residential installations where 1 Gbps and multi-gigabit performance is needed
• Point-to-point connections for VoIP phones, IP cameras or access points

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45
• Cabling standard: Category 6a (Cat6a)
• Color: blue
• Mounting: wall outlet/module for standard flush wall boxes
• Use: fixed network termination for patching and structured cabling

How to use

Install the socket-outlet into a standard flush wall box following local electrical and low-voltage cabling regulations. Terminate Cat6a cable pairs to the rear contacts according to the T568A or T568B wiring scheme as used in the existing network. Secure the module in the wall box and attach the cover plate. Connect patch leads from the RJ-45 ports to network devices, switches or patch panels to complete the link and verify continuity and performance with appropriate network testers.

Recommendations

For best performance, use certified Cat6a cable and connectors throughout the link, maintain proper cable bend radius and separation from electrical interference sources, and test each terminated port to confirm bandwidth and signal integrity before putting into service.
