Stopcontactdoos-adapter REV 3-voudig met overspanningsbeveiliging 0020070112, wit

REV 3-socket power strip adapter model 0020070112 in white is a compact power distribution accessory with integrated surge protection. It converts a single grounded outlet into three grounded sockets, allowing multiple devices to be connected simultaneously while providing basic protection against transient voltage spikes. The adapter is designed for simple, everyday use in homes, small offices and workspaces where space-saving and reliable power distribution are needed.

Advantages

The adapter combines a small footprint with three grounded outlets and built-in surge protection to reduce the risk of damage from brief overvoltage events. Its neutral white finish and compact shape make it suitable for placement near desks, entertainment centres or behind furniture. The device provides a straightforward method for expanding outlet capacity without additional cables or bulky power strips, while offering a level of transient suppression for connected electronics.

Suitable for

• Charging phones, tablets and other small USB-powered devices via their chargers
• Powering monitors, routers, modems and network equipment in home or small office setups
• Connecting small appliances such as lamps, fans or kitchen gadgets

Key specifications

• Number of sockets: 3 grounded outlets
• Protection: built-in surge protection for transient overvoltage suppression
• Colour: white
• Form factor: compact adapter designed to plug directly into a wall outlet
• Intended use: indoor power distribution for household and small office electronics

How to use

Plug the adapter directly into a properly grounded wall outlet. Connect up to three compatible devices using their mains plugs, ensuring that the total combined load does not exceed the rated current for the outlet. Position the adapter so vents (if present) and any indicator lights remain visible, and avoid covering it with fabrics or placing it in confined spaces that could restrict airflow. If the surge protection indicator shows a fault or the adapter exhibits signs of overheating, disconnect all devices and replace the adapter.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for low- to moderate-power devices and avoid plugging heavy-duty appliances such as heaters or large kitchen appliances. For sensitive or high-value equipment, consider pairing the adapter with a dedicated surge protector with higher energy absorption ratings or a UPS for extended protection. Regularly inspect the adapter for wear and replace it if the casing is damaged or the protective function is compromised.
