Strijkijzer Zelmer Aqua Steam ZIS5400 zwart-blauw

The Iron Zelmer Aqua Steam ZIS5400 black-blue offers a combination of steam power and a ceramic soleplate to support efficient removal of creases from a range of fabrics. Designed with adjustable temperature settings and a vertical steam function, this iron is intended for both flat ironing and steaming garments on hangers. The device includes an anti-drip system to reduce water leakage and an ergonomic, lightweight body for comfortable handling during prolonged ironing tasks.

Advantages

The ceramic soleplate provides smooth glide across fabrics and even heat distribution for consistent results. A strong steam output penetrates fibers to speed up wrinkle removal while the adjustable temperature control allows safe treatment of delicate and robust textiles. The vertical steam function expands functionality for steaming curtains and hanging garments, and the anti-drip mechanism minimises water spots during low-temperature ironing. Compact weight and ergonomic handle reduce user fatigue.

Suitable for

• Everyday garment ironing: shirts, blouses and trousers
• Steaming hanging garments and curtains using the vertical steam function

• Quick touch-ups and travel use where a compact, lightweight iron is preferred

How to use

Fill the water tank according to the maximum indicator and select the appropriate temperature for the fabric you intend to iron. Allow the iron to heat until the chosen temperature is reached, then apply continuous steam or single bursts as needed while gliding the ceramic soleplate across the fabric. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright and direct steam at the hanging garment or curtain from a short distance. Engage the anti-drip feature by using recommended temperature settings to avoid water spotting.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralised water when possible to reduce scale build-up. Start with lower temperature settings for delicate fabrics and increase heat for cottons and linens. Empty the water tank and store the iron in an upright position after use. Perform descaling according to the manufacturer's guidance to maintain steam performance over time.
