Strijkplank RAYEN 6124.02 hangend ruimtebesparend design, wandgemonteerde strijkplank

RAYEN 6124.02 suspended space-saving design wall-mounted ironing board provides a compact and practical ironing surface that attaches to the wall and folds away when not in use. Designed for small homes, utility rooms or closets, the wall-mounted construction eliminates the need for floor space while offering a stable platform for everyday garment care. The board is intended to deliver a straightforward ironing experience with an emphasis on convenience and space efficiency.

Advantages

The wall-mounted design keeps the ironing board out of the way when not required while remaining quickly accessible. Its fold-away mechanism reduces clutter and frees floor area in small living spaces. Constructed for typical domestic use, the ironing surface offers enough stability for shirts, trousers and light household textiles. Installation on a vertical surface ensures a consistent working height and keeps the board fixed during ironing.

Suitable for

• Small apartments and studio flats where floor space is limited
• Utility rooms, laundry closets or hallways with a solid mounting surface
• Everyday ironing of shirts, blouses, trousers and light linens
• Users who prefer a permanently installed solution instead of a freestanding board

When it may not be suitable

This wall-mounted ironing board may not be suitable for large-scale or commercial ironing tasks where a wider or taller professional board is required. It is also not ideal when a portable or frequently relocated ironing solution is needed, since installation is permanent and requires a suitable fixed wall or studs for secure mounting.

Key specifications

• Type: suspended, wall-mounted folding ironing board
• Design focus: space-saving, fold-away mechanism
• Typical use: domestic garment care and household textiles
• Mounting: fixed vertical wall installation
• Surface: ironing platform sized for everyday garments (compact format)

How to use

Securely mount the ironing board to a solid wall surface following the manufacturer’s installation instructions and using appropriate fixings for the wall type. Fold the board down to the working position and lock it if a locking mechanism is provided. Place an iron and ironing cover or pad on the board, allow the iron to reach the recommended temperature for the fabric, and iron garments as usual. After use, allow the board and iron to cool, then fold the board back up against the wall to save space.

What to consider before purchase

• Available wall space and distance from nearby obstacles or furniture when unfolded
• Wall material and whether suitable fixings or professional installation are required
• Intended ironing tasks and whether the board dimensions match your garments and needs
• Weight capacity and stability requirements for any heavier items you may iron

Recommendations

Install on a reinforced section of wall or into studs for reliable support, check that the folded board clears adjacent doors or cabinets, and use a heat-resistant ironing cover suited to the fabrics you typically press. Regularly verify fixings and hinges for secure operation and follow safe ironing practices, such as turning the iron off when unattended.
