Stroomtransformator JUNG A 5530 FIB WW, wit, nominale uitgang 16 A, voor 230 V ingang

JUNG A 5530 FIB WW is a white current transformer for 230 V systems that provides a nominal output current of 16 A. It converts mains current into a measurable secondary signal for monitoring, metering or protective circuits while providing galvanic separation between primary and secondary circuits. The device is designed for integration into electrical distribution and control panels where current sensing and signal isolation are required.

Advantages

The transformer conforms to DIN EN 61008-1 and DIN EN 61008-2-1 standards and offers a rated residual current of 30 mA. It features screwless terminals that accept conductors up to 2.5 mm2 and supports installation with cables containing 2 or 3 conductors. The output terminals are protected in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-410 and the device includes a voltage-independent protection function. Designed for flush-box mounting, it is compact and suited to standard electrical installations.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the current transformer into a flush box with a depth of 60 mm and route the primary conductor (live conductor) through the transformer aperture. Connect the secondary/output conductors to the screwless terminals, ensuring conductor cross-section does not exceed 2.5 mm². This device is not suitable for installation in surface-mounted caps. Verify correct polarity and secure connections before powering the circuit. The transformer provides a secondary signal to meters, monitoring devices or protective circuits; the fixed nominal secondary output is 16 A.

Recommendations

Use the JUNG A 5530 FIB WW in conjunction with compatible metering or protective equipment and ensure the upstream electrical installation (up to the residual-current device) is correctly protected. Do not install in surface-mounted enclosures; use the recommended 60 mm flush-box depth for reliable mechanical and electrical performance. Comply with local wiring regulations and safety standards during installation and testing.
