Sunwayfoto FB-44DDHi kogelkop met panorama-klem DDH-02i

Heavy camera rigs often force a compromise: either you lock the ballhead down and lose smooth panning, or you pan freely and risk drift when you need absolute stability. The Sunwayfoto FB-44DDHi Ballhead with Panning Clamp DDH-02i ends that trade-off. Its 44 mm ball and dual-action panning clamp give you independent control over ball locking, friction, and 360° panning, so your gear stays exactly where you point it—whether you're framing a landscape, tracking a subject, or shooting a long exposure.

Who is it for

Serious enthusiasts and professionals using full-frame DSLRs, medium format cameras, or long telephoto lenses will appreciate this head's rock-solid stability and fluid movement. It's ideal for studio work, outdoor photography, and any scenario where precise framing and reliable load capacity matter. If you've ever struggled with a ballhead that drifts after locking or a panning base that binds, the FB-44DDHi is engineered to eliminate those frustrations.

Tips

For the best balance, set the friction control to match your camera and lens weight before locking the ball. When shooting panoramas, use the separate panning lock to keep the ball locked while you rotate smoothly. Always ensure the quick release plate is fully seated and the clamp is tightened securely to prevent any accidental shifts.
