Switch HP Enterprise Aruba 6000 24G CL4 4SFP — 24 x Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x SFP-poorten

Aruba 6000 24G CL4 4SFP is a fixed-port managed switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP 1GbE uplink ports. Designed for small and medium business or branch installations, it provides basic Layer 2 switching, PoE support and fiber uplink options to connect workstations, wireless access points and servers within a LAN. The device measures 442 x 44 x 268 mm and weighs 4.2 kg, offering rack-mountable dimensions for standard network cabinets.

Advantages

The switch offers managed Layer 2 functionality with support for common IEEE standards including VLAN tagging, spanning tree and link aggregation. With 24 copper Gigabit ports plus 4 SFP ports, it provides a mix of PoE-powered access and fiber uplink flexibility. A forwarding capacity of 41.6 Mpps ensures adequate packet throughput for typical SMB traffic patterns, while rack-friendly dimensions simplify integration into existing network racks.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business LANs
• Branch offices and remote sites
• Connecting wired workstations, IP phones and access points
• Aggregating uplinks to cores or distribution switches via SFP

How to use

Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack or place it on a stable surface. Connect power and use the copper Gigabit ports to attach computers, IP phones and PoE devices; use the SFP ports for fiber uplinks to distribution or core switches. Configure VLANs, spanning tree and port settings through the switch management interface or via centralized Aruba management tools to match your network design.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a ventilated cabinet and follow manufacturer guidelines for PoE budget planning. Use quality SFP modules matched to your fiber type for reliable uplinks and configure VLANs and access control to separate traffic where needed.
