Glasvezelkabel Synergy 21 S216728 0,5 m 2x LC 2x SC oranje

The Synergy 21 S216728 0.5m OM2 fibre optic cable provides a short-range, high-performance connection for duplex data links. Featuring two LC connectors on one end and two SC connectors on the other, this orange multimode cable has a 50 µm core diameter and is designed for reliable signal transmission in rack-to-rack, patch panel and equipment-to-equipment installations in data centres and professional networks.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable supports full duplex communication and is terminated with 2x LC and 2x SC connectors to match common networking ports. The OM2 50 µm multimode construction offers stable modal bandwidth for short-distance high-speed links. The bright orange jacket improves cable identification and routing in dense bundles, while the short 0.5 m length reduces excess cable slack and helps maintain tidy patching between adjacent ports.

Suitable for

• Patch panel to switch connections in data centres
• Inter-equipment links in server racks
• Short-range multimode duplex links
• Environments requiring visible colour-coded cabling

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector configuration: 2x LC to 2x SC
• Duplex support: full duplex
• Jacket colour: orange

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before insertion to minimise attenuation and reflections. Insert the LC and SC connectors into compatible ports until they click or seat securely; ensure correct polarity for duplex transmission. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid kinking; secure short runs with cable management to prevent strain on connectors. For moves or changes, disconnect by depressing the connector latch (for LC and SC) and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m OM2 fibre patch cable for short multimode links within racks or between closely spaced panels. Keep connectors capped when not in use, use proper fibre cleaning procedures, and maintain bend radius guidelines to ensure consistent performance.
