SYNERGY21 S215504 OM5 duplex LC-LC glasvezel-patchkabel 25m groen

In high-density data centers and enterprise networks, this SYNERGY21 S215504 fiber optic patch cable connects switches, servers, and storage over 25 meters with OM5 wideband multimode fiber. The duplex LC connectors on both ends provide reliable, low-loss links for high-speed applications.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode (50/125 µm)
• Connectors: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 25 m
• Jacket colour: Green
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Insertion loss: < 0.3 dB
• Return loss: > 20 dB
• Effective modal bandwidth: 2800 MHz·km @ 850 nm, 4700 MHz·km @ 953 nm
• Supports wavelengths from 850 nm to 953 nm
• Standards: TIA-492AAAE, IEC 60793-2-10 Type A1a.4

Why choose it

OM5 fiber supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM), allowing multiple wavelengths over a single pair of fibers for higher data rates and future scalability. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces. The green jacket color provides easy identification and organization in dense cabling environments.

Ideal use cases

• Data center interconnects
• Storage area networks (SAN)
• High-speed LAN backbones
• 40G/100G Ethernet links

Good to know

Duplex zipcord construction keeps the two fibers together for neat routing. The cable is compliant with TIA and IEC standards for OM5 fiber, ensuring compatibility with standard LC connectors and transceivers.
