Tablet-houder Compulocks CL12UTHBB zwart

The Compulocks Universal Tablet Holder (CL12UTHBB) is a passive indoor security stand for tablets and UMPCs. Made of high-grade aluminum with a black finish, the holder secures devices using a small security plate that attaches to the tablet and fits into the stand. It includes a keyed cable lock point and a patented balance stabilizer to manage and protect cables while keeping the tablet at an optimal 45° viewing angle.

Advantages

This universal tablet security stand is compatible with most tablets 7 inches or larger and offers two adhesive options for the security plate: removable 3M™ VHB™ bonding tape for a balance of security and device preservation or a permanent super glue option. The open-back design accommodates the security slot and cable, while the aluminum construction provides durability without adding excessive weight. The included keyed lock point increases protection against theft in public or shared spaces.

How to use

Choose the adhesive option for the security plate (3M™ VHB™ tape for removable attachment or super glue for a permanent bond). Attach the 2 x 2 in (5 x 5 cm) security plate to the back of the tablet according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions, allow appropriate curing time if using glue, then place the tablet into the stand so the plate engages the locking slot. Connect and secure the keyed cable lock to the stand's lock point and route the cable through the balance stabilizer to manage cords.

Recommendations

For frequent device changes, use the 3M™ VHB™ tape option to avoid damage and residue on the tablet. For high-risk public environments, choose the super glue option and ensure the cable lock is properly secured to a fixed anchor point.
