Use the cardioid orientation to aim the capsule toward the sound source, monitor audio through headphones connected to the 3.5 mm jack and adjust volume with the integrated controller. Press the mute button when you need to temporarily silence the microphone.

Recommendations

Place the microphone 15–30 cm from the speaker's mouth, slightly off-axis to reduce plosives. Use the cardioid pattern to face the capsule toward the primary sound source and away from noisy areas. For best results in untreated rooms, add a pop filter and monitor levels to avoid clipping.
