Microfoon Behringer BU200 USB-condensatormicrofoon

The Behringer BU200 USB Condenser Microphone is a compact, plug-and-play microphone designed for clear audio capture in home studios and mobile recording setups. It uses a cardioid pickup pattern to focus on sound sources directly in front of the capsule while reducing ambient noise. With a frequency response spanning 20 Hz to 20 kHz, the microphone captures both low-frequency presence and high-frequency detail suitable for vocals and a variety of instruments. The USB connection enables direct digital recording to computers without additional audio interfaces.

Advantages

The cardioid polar pattern reduces background noise and room reflections, improving clarity for vocal and instrumental recording. Its wide frequency response ensures faithful reproduction of low and high frequencies. The USB interface offers straightforward connectivity and compatibility with most operating systems, allowing quick setup and immediate use. The compact form factor makes the microphone portable and space-efficient for small desks and home studios.

How to use

Connect the microphone to a computer USB port using the included cable and select it as the input device in your operating system or recording software. Adjust input levels in your recording software to avoid clipping while maintaining adequate signal level. No external power or audio interface is required for basic operation.

Recommendations

For best results, use a pop filter or windscreen to reduce plosive sounds when recording vocals, and place the microphone on a stable stand or boom arm to minimize handling noise. Monitor input levels and use basic room treatment or positioning to reduce room reflections and background noise.
