Tafelmicrofoon Elgato Wave 3

The Elgato Wave 3 is a table microphone designed for streamers, podcasters and content creators who need broadcast-quality vocal capture. It connects via USB Type-C, offers a wide frequency response and a 24‑bit signal path to preserve vocal detail. The microphone ships with a heavy-duty desk stand and a multi-adapter for common boom arm threads. Integrated LEWITT Audio technology and Clipguard protection help deliver clear, undistorted sound during live and recorded sessions.

Advantages

The Wave 3 combines a premium condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern tuned for speech to capture verbal nuances while rejecting off-axis noise. Multilayered noise shielding and an available dual-layer metal pop filter reduce plosives, and an optional shock mount isolates the mic from mechanical vibration. Clipguard technology prevents clipping by routing peaks to a lower-level signal path. The unit supports up to nine independent input channels via the companion mixing software and lets you create two independent output mixes for performer and audience monitoring.

Recommendations

Place the mic 10–20 cm from the mouth for clear vocals without excessive breath noise, enable Clipguard when broadcasting live, and use a pop filter and shock mount in noisy or high-vibration environments.
