Tafelrouter Mikrotik Chateau LTE12 dualband Wi-Fi 5

Chateau LTE12 improves mobile internet performance for home and business use by replacing ISP- or operator-issued routers that restrict speed and coverage. It features an upgraded LTE12 modem with carrier aggregation and expanded 4x4 MIMO on multiple bands, dual-band Wi-Fi, five Gigabit Ethernet ports and external antenna support to deliver faster, more reliable mobile connections in urban and rural environments.

Advantages

The router provides faster speeds in crowded areas, more stable connections in remote locations and wider coverage across multiple LTE bands. Dual-band Wi-Fi supports seamless device performance while five Gigabit Ethernet ports allow wired connections for media servers, PCs and smart home systems. External SMA antenna ports and RouterOS offer improved signal reception and advanced network control, including VPN and security features.

Key specifications

• Modem: upgraded LTE12 with carrier aggregation
• MIMO: expanded 4x4 MIMO on bands 1 / 3 / 7 / 38 / 40 / 41
• Additional band: B32 support
• Wi‑Fi: dual‑band (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz)
• Ethernet: 5 × Gigabit Ethernet ports
• Antenna: external LTE antenna support (SMA female ports)
• Software: RouterOS for advanced security, VPN and network control

How to use

Place the Chateau LTE12 where it receives the best mobile signal, connect an external LTE antenna to the SMA female ports if needed, and attach wired devices to the Gigabit Ethernet ports. Configure wireless networks on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands via the RouterOS web interface or app, enable carrier aggregation and MIMO features are handled automatically by the modem based on network conditions. Set up VPNs and security rules through RouterOS for centralized network management.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, position the router near a window or elevated location, use an external antenna in areas with weak coverage, and keep RouterOS firmware up to date. Choose the appropriate Wi‑Fi band for your devices (2.4 GHz for range, 5 GHz for speed).
