Basetech SJS-60007 pocket scale is a compact precision scale with a 500 g maximum capacity and 0.1 g readability. The unit is designed for accurate measurement of small items such as jewelry, coins, herbs, and portions of ingredients. Its portable format and straightforward controls make it suitable for on-the-go weighing, while the clear digital display provides easy-to-read results for everyday precision tasks.

Advantages

The scale combines high sensitivity with a small footprint, allowing precise measurements in a lightweight, pocketable housing. Simple controls and a responsive tare function enable quick zeroing and net-weight calculations. Fast measurement stabilization, a clear numeric display, and battery operation contribute to convenient mobile use without complex setup.

Suitable for

• Weighing jewelry and gemstones
• Measuring culinary ingredients and small portions
• Counting coins and small parts
• Herbal and apothecary measurements
• Hobbyist and craft projects requiring precise small weights

Key specifications

• Maximum capacity: 500 g
• Readability (accuracy): 0.1 g
• Compact, portable form factor suitable for pocket carry
• Digital display for numeric readout
• Tare/zero function for net weight measurement
• Battery powered for mobile operation

How to use

Place the pocket scale on a stable, level surface and switch it on. Allow the display to stabilize, then place an empty container on the weighing platform and press the tare/zero button to set the display to zero. Add the item to be weighed and read the measurement from the digital display. For cumulative weighing, use the tare function between additions to obtain incremental weights. Turn off the scale after use to conserve battery life and store it in a protective case or pouch to prevent damage to the weighing platform.

Recommendations

Use the scale on a vibration-free surface and avoid drafts or direct sunlight for more consistent results. Calibrate the instrument periodically according to the manufacturer’s instructions using appropriate calibration weights. Replace batteries when the display indicates low power and clean the weighing platform with a soft, dry cloth—do not immerse the unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.
