Takenschaar Bosch AdvancedPrune 18V-45 draadloze tuinschaar – 18 V op accu, 45 mm snijdikte

The Bosch AdvancedPrune 18V-45 cordless secateurs are battery-powered pruning shears engineered for cutting branches and stems up to 45 mm in diameter. Built on an 18 V motor platform, these secateurs provide consistent cutting performance for routine garden maintenance, vineyard and orchard pruning, and shaping of shrubs and ornamental plants. The tool combines a compact cordless design with ergonomic handling to reduce user fatigue during prolonged tasks and to deliver precise, clean cuts that support healthy regrowth.

Advantages

These cordless pruning shears offer stable power delivery characteristic of an 18 V platform while eliminating the constraints of a power cord. The 45 mm cutting capacity accommodates a wide range of pruning jobs from thin shoots to medium-thick branches. Ergonomic grip and balanced weight distribution improve comfort for extended use, and the blade geometry is designed for precise cuts that minimise damage to plants. The handheld, battery-operated format increases mobility in large gardens, orchards and vineyards.

Suitable for

• Routine garden maintenance and shrub shaping
• Pruning in vineyards and orchards
• Trimming ornamental plants and hedges
• Cutting branches and stems up to 45 mm diameter

Key specifications

• Power source: 18 V battery-operated cordless tool
• Maximum cutting capacity: 45 mm diameter
• Intended use: branch and stem cutting for gardens, vineyards, orchards
• Design: handheld secateurs with ergonomic grip
• Blade type: precision cutting blade for clean cuts

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly fitted according to the battery platform instructions. Position the blade around the branch to be cut and squeeze the handle to engage the cutting action, keeping the blade perpendicular to the branch for an even cut. For branches near the maximum capacity, support the branch to prevent splitting and make short, controlled cuts rather than forcing the tool. After finishing, clean the blade of sap and debris and store the secateurs in a dry place.

Recommendations

For best results, match the cutting diameter to the tool’s 45 mm capacity and use on healthy, dry wood where possible. Regularly clean and lightly lubricate the blade to maintain cutting performance and inspect the tool for wear. When carrying out extended pruning sessions in vineyards or orchards, use compatible 18 V batteries with sufficient charge reserve and follow all safety guidelines for protected plants and operator safety.
