Takkenschaar GARDENA PremiumCut 12241-20 bypass, grijs/turkoois

GARDENA PremiumCut 12241-20 bypass pruning shears are designed for accurate trimming of live branches, stems and shoots in home gardens. The bypass blade geometry enables clean cutting without crushing plant tissue, while the ergonomic grey and turquoise handle supports comfortable and controlled use. Compact and balanced, these pruning shears are intended for regular garden maintenance including shaping shrubs, pruning roses and caring for fruit trees.

Advantages

The bypass blade design provides smooth, precise cuts that promote faster healing of plants. An ergonomic handle shape reduces hand fatigue during extended use and improves grip security. The compact construction and balanced weight allow accurate work in tight spaces and among dense foliage. Materials and finishing ensure reliable cutting performance for routine garden tasks.

Suitable for

• Pruning live branches and stems up to the tool's cutting capacity
• Shaping and maintenance of shrubs, hedges and rose bushes
• Light fruit-tree pruning and seasonal trimming
• General garden maintenance and precise cutting tasks

Key specifications

• Blade type: bypass geometry for clean, scissor-like cuts
• Handle: ergonomic, contoured for comfortable grip in grey and turquoise
• Design: compact and balanced for precise handling
• Intended use: cutting live wood, shoots and stems for home gardening

How to use

Hold the pruning shears with a firm, comfortable grip and position the bypass blades so the moving blade passes close to the fixed blade, slicing through the live branch. Make cuts at a slight angle when pruning branches to promote water runoff and faster healing. For thicker branches, select a cutting point within the recommended capacity of the tool and avoid forcing the blades through oversized material. Clean and dry the blades after use to maintain cutting performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use the shears on healthy, live wood and perform regular maintenance: sharpen blades as needed, remove sap or debris after each session and store the tool in a dry place. Wear protective gloves and eye protection during pruning operations to reduce risk of injury.
