Tang Knipex 95 32 060

Cable cutters with ratchet action and telescopic handles, model Knipex 95 32 060, combine a burnished cutting head with multi-component non-slip grips. These pliers are built from high-quality materials for durability and reliable performance in cutting and handling tasks.

Advantages

The ratchet mechanism reduces hand effort and enables precise cutting of cables. Telescopic handles extend to increase leverage for thicker cables while remaining compact when retracted. Burnished head treatment improves wear resistance, and the ergonomic multi-component grips provide a secure hold and reduced slip during use.

Suitable for

• Cutting insulated and uninsulated electrical cables
• Work in confined spaces where a compact tool is needed
• Professional electrical installation and maintenance tasks
• DIY projects that require reliable cable cutting

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades, operate the ratchet mechanism by squeezing the handles in successive strokes until the cable is severed. Extend the telescopic handles if additional leverage is required for thicker cables, then retract after use for compact storage. Inspect the cutting edges before use and avoid twisting motions that could damage the blades.

Recommendations

Use the tool only for cutting appropriate cable types within the manufacturer's recommendations, keep the blades clean and dry, and store the pliers retracted to protect the cutting edges. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working with live circuits—ensure circuits are de-energized before cutting.
