tangensleutel Rothenberger ROGRIP F 10 2K maximale buisdiameter 6 cm

The Rothenberger ROGRIP F 10 2K tongue-and-groove pliers are a hand tool designed for gripping, turning and holding pipes, fittings and fasteners. With a total length of 254 mm and a maximum pipe capacity of 60 mm, these pliers suit common plumbing and mechanical tasks where secure bite and controlled torque are required. The tool combines hardened jaws and a two-component ergonomic handle to balance wear resistance with operator comfort while working on threaded connections, compression fittings and round stock.

Advantages

Hardened, precision-machined jaws provide secure gripping on smooth and profiled surfaces without excessive slippage. The two-component (2K) handle offers improved ergonomic hold and reduces hand fatigue during repeated use. The tongue-and-groove adjusting mechanism allows quick and reliable width adjustment across multiple jaw positions. Robust construction and balanced weight distribution make the pliers suitable for regular use in plumbing and general maintenance tasks.

Suitable for

• Gripping and turning metal and plastic pipes up to 60 mm in diameter
• Tightening and loosening plumbing fittings and connections
• Holding round stock and fasteners during assembly or disassembly
• General maintenance, repair and installation work in building services

Key specifications

• Total length: 254 mm
• Maximum pipe diameter capacity: 60 mm
• Weight: 390 g
• Jaw type: tongue-and-groove adjustable with hardened gripping surfaces
• Handle: two-component ergonomic grip

How to use

Select the appropriate jaw position by sliding the tongue-and-groove joint to the nearest notch so the jaws fit the pipe or fitting securely. Position the jaws on the workpiece close to the joint or the area to be turned, apply steady pressure to the handles and turn or hold as required. Avoid using excessive force that may deform soft materials; for stubborn connections, reposition the jaws closer to the joint for improved leverage. After use, clean any debris from the jaws and wipe the handles to maintain grip performance.

Recommendations

For safe and long-lasting performance, use the pliers within the specified maximum pipe diameter, avoid using the tool as a hammer or pry bar, and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion. When working on plated or soft-metal fittings, protect surfaces with cloth or use appropriate tooling to avoid damage.
