Targus AWE81EU laptop-koelpad zwart

The Targus Chill Mat+ with 4-port Hub is a compact cooling platform that transforms a laptop into a small workstation. It combines dual fans for active cooling, an integrated 4-port hub for connecting peripherals, and an adjustable height mechanism that also functions as a laptop stand.

Advantages

The dual fans reduce laptop temperature during prolonged use, while the integrated 4-port hub expands connectivity for mice, keyboards, storage and other USB devices. Adjustable height settings let you choose a flat position or raise the platform up to 4" for improved typing posture when using an external keyboard. The compact design fits most laptops and supports both cooling and ergonomic use without separate accessories.

Suitable for

• Office or home users who need additional USB ports and cooling for a laptop
• Users who switch between flat use and elevated laptop-stand mode with an external keyboard
• Remote workers and students working for extended periods on a laptop

Key specifications

• Cooling: Dual fans for active heat dissipation
• Hub: Integrated 4-port USB hub for peripherals
• Adjustable height: Up to 4" (highest setting) for ergonomic use
• Form factor: Compact platform suitable for most laptops

How to use

Place the laptop on the Chill Mat+ and connect the platform to your laptop via the provided USB cable so the fans and hub receive power. Position the platform flat for a lower profile or raise it to the highest setting (4") when using an external keyboard to create an ergonomic workstation. Plug peripherals into the 4-port hub to expand USB connectivity.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure the laptop vents are not obstructed, clean the fan area periodically to prevent dust buildup, and use the elevated setting with an external keyboard to reduce neck and wrist strain during long typing sessions.
